October 9th 2007 - Accident Puts Remo out for most of season.
Due to an ironic accident in Indianapolis, where Remo was trying to avoid a collision, his Kart flipped which resulted in a broken collar bone and two broken ribs.
Remo tried to return 4 weeks later in Utah at Miller Motorsports. He practiced on Friday's five sessions where he came in with top 10s most of the session and qualified 6th on Saturday morning, however reoccurring rib pains forced him to retire for the weekend.
On doctors recommendation he was ordered to take the month off and the Ruscitti's took advantage and spent the month of August in Italy Visiting great places like Marenello. Remo drove and visited many tracks while in Italy and enjoyed driving a Fiat 500 around on his makeup track on open road in the country.
We then took the chance in early September in getting into a Kart again in Moran. Remo had the full package and was very fast but again the physical track just took a toll on his ribs and put him out.
Remo would like to thank everyone this season for all the kind words and support through this tough season and would like everyone to know that he really gave his best to get back into the Kart, but is now forced to end his season for good until next March.
Remo will be testing very hard this winter in order to make up what he lost in the 2007 season.
Remo's goal for 2008 is to bring home a Championship home for himself and Italian Motors.
